Normandy Schools Collaborative is seeking an experienced Social Worker to support school efforts by supporting and executing a shared vision and mission for enhanced student learning to achieve dramatic gains in student achievement.

This position will report to the Director of Special Programs and will support the vision for school culture and academics, support a rigorous plan for students and support the schools to ensure that students graduate career and college ready.

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

The Social Worker provides direct and indirect social work services to students district-wide experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their performance in school, and facilitates communication among school, home and community providers. The School Social Worker will be responsible for demonstrating behaviors that are consistent with Normandy Schools Collaborative Values.
